In my frail humanness, I️ shriek at the sound of suffering. I️ wave my white flag. I️ cower at the thought of hard circumstances and situations. I️ run from conflict and turn inward. I️ too easily choose despair. I️ somehow become unaware of others as I️ become hyper-focused on myself. I️ don’t breed hope and love at these times. But God is teaching me to stay in the fight and finish well.
I want to encourage you today to reach out to someone who has spurred you on to keep going. I bet they don’t hear the simple words “thank you” often enough. Who is that person for you?
