When we catch a glimpse of our ugliness, we are amazingly humbled to see the glory of God in a brand new light. When our eyes are opened to the horror within and instead, turned to the hope of glory, God is at work.
It takes the good, bad and ugly to truly appreciate God’s goodness.
Even if everything wasn’t just right, it felt good to be home. However, I quickly realized the momentous expectations I had placed in merely a building.
There is a certain calmness that comes before a storm. Everyone watches in wait. Eyes are glued to the clouds looming overhead.
