Looking for a Bible Study to help you kick-start the New Year? Personally speaking, I seem to be much more disciplined if I have a study guide & a group of women to help keep me accountable. Let’s be honest with each other: it can be difficult to navigate the crazy circumstances of life on our own. That’s why God’s Word repeatedly encourages us to spend time together. In Hebrews 10:25, we are told to keep meeting with one another and encourage one another. Why? Because it can be a cruel, harsh, difficult road out there to bear all alone.
Here’s some advice for the new year:
- Find a group of believers to help you in the New Year.
- Set a specific goal to spend time in Scripture.
- Ask a friend to help hold you accountable on a weekly basis.
- Pray for God to give you wisdom and discernment on what Bible study is well-suited for you. Lifeway offers incredible resources for women. Some of my favorite authors include: Beth Moore, Kelly Minter, Priscilla Shirer, and Jennie Allen.
- Seek God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. He is real and is desiring to have a personal relationship with YOU!
I also would love to encourage you to take a look at my Bible study on Eve. It dives into reality…how we are sinful, ugly beings in desperate need of a Savior. “You are such a blessing and I have truly enjoyed your study! You have really helped me this past year. My desire is to live much more intimately and God focused.”
“I began your study in a mindset that I always have–“God, please change me in many ways as I seek you.” But, I didn’t know the depths to which He would reveal truth to me and change my heart on some things.”
“This study has been such a blessing to me this fall! It is so well written and I think it speaks such truth to women, no matter how long they have studied the Bible.”
“Wow! It is hard to put into words what this Bible study has meant to me! To see someone like yourself who is so Christ-centered and to read and hear your honest words, is such a gift. You have been so inspiring!”
“I could not have asked for a better first Bible study experience. Thank you for your honesty and thought provoking words. I walked away from your study wanting to learn more and that to me is a huge blessing.”
“Thank you for sharing your journey with us. So inspiring. I will hold Eve closer to my heart from now on.”
“Thank you doesn’t begin to cover it! Not only did your study challenge, stretch, and encourage me, BUT I’m forever grateful that He allowed our paths to converge.”
“Praise God!! I’m thankful God led you to write this study! What a blessing!”
“I can’t thank you enough for truly making the Bible person for me. You’ve made a real difference in my whole family’s lives this year by impacting me.”
These are just a sampling of the overflow of letters that have poured into my soul last year. I am praying God will pour into your life as well…by speaking personally to you. Becoming more real to you. Maybe even for the very first time.
